TMZ reports that the stars death has been listed as hypertrophic heart disease and is categorised as accidental in relation to the alcohol overdose in a LA coroners report.
Its said the heart disease made it difficult for the heart to pump blood and is easy to go undiagnosed. The autopsy report allegedly reveals that Kristoff was released from a mental health facility two days before his death, after reportedly checking himself in.
Sources claim Kristoff was admitted to UCLA Medical Center in January to battle depression, which they say was partly linked to his son Julians suicide in 2014.
Following his death, Kristoff and Mia – Julians mum – founded the El Saber Es Poder Foundation to battle mental illness.
