Bhavna Limbachia is set to bid farewell to Coronation Street amid rumours that her character Rana Habeeb will tragically fall victim to the factory collapse.
The actress broke the news to her fans in January that she was quitting the cobbles, with reports suggesting she had asked show bosses to kill off her character so that she didnt have to split up the romance between Rana and Kate Connor (Faye Brookes).
All of which led to much speculation that Rana will meet a heartbreaking end on the day of her wedding to Kate.
So just why is Bhavna leaving and what will her next move be?

The actress has not given an official reason for leaving the soap, but its been reported that it was her decision to leave, as she wanted to move on to other projects.
She broke the news of her departure in a Twitter message to her fans back in January.

Hi guys I just wanted to give you a little message to say thank you for following Ranas journey and for the continued support of the storyline. I do have some news – my journey at Coronation Street will be coming to an end but dont worry guys, I have extended my contract.

I really should get going now as these scenes wont film themselves!
A spokesperson told metro.co.uk at the time that the actress had been fully involved in the discussions about Ranas leaving story as they wished her all the best for the future.
As well as Corrie, shell also be familiar to fans of the comedy series Citizen Khan, in which she played Alia Khan, one of the daughters of the title character played by Adil Ray.
The 34-year-old has also appeared in the likes of Doctors, Pramface, Mount Pleasant, Casualty and Cuffs.
Her next project has yet to be revealed.
Coronation Street airs weeknights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV at 7.30pm.
